Heart of Hospice came this past Tuesday to give some encouraging words to our residents. They also brought king cake and orange juice. The residents enjoyed the time they took out of their day to talk with them.

The Bernice Special Care Unit is a center for the clinically complex residents. This 32 bed community provides specialized care for male residents who have been diagnosed with mental illness and other related behavior disorders.
Our rehab center is staffed with a dynamic and caring team of clinical professionals that work in unison with licensed physical, occupational and speech therapists. As a Medicare Certified, Medicaid Approved skilled nursing center, Bernice offers 24-hour nursing care provided by licensed, certified, and long-tenured staff.
