Hello, I am Arica Thompson.
Currently, I serve as the Director of Social Services. I am a committed social service director with a fervent dedication to empowering individuals and families who encounter challenges, possessing expertise in case management and community outreach, and devoted to delivering comprehensive support while advocating for transformative change. I approach my objectives with transparency, maintaining a clear focus on my personal aspirations, firmly grounded in my principals. I was born in Houston, Texas. My optimistic demeanor and unwavering energy drive me to motivate others to strive for excellence and achievement. My husband, son, and faith serve as my daily sources of inspiration. During my leisure time, I enjoy engaging with family, delivering speeches at church, providing counseling to others, and playing video games with my son. I have achieved multiple degrees from Grand Canyon University while currently pursing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am honored to be included in Who’s Who Among American High School Students, The National Society of Leadership and Success, as well as the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society. One of my favorite quotes is by Mahatma Gandhi, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in service of others.”
